To switch things up a bit, I am posting a video highlighting an African trip that was taken back in February of 2016. The trip begins in Stellenbosch–the winelands area of South Africa, where we rode by horseback through a wine region and visited a few local wineries. From there, we drove down to Boulders Beach to see the resident penguins and on to the Cape of Good Hope. After exploring the surrounding areas of Cape Town, we headed for Kruger National Park to take part in the safari life. Here we saw the big five, which include the African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, rhinoceros, and the African leopard, in addition to other animals. After touring the national park, we flew to Victoria Falls, where we had the opportunity to experience Angel’s Pool–a small pool that is located close to the edge of Victoria Falls, where you can sit. All in all a great trip–one for the books and one I highly recommend!
